The lucky UK bidder, known only as ‘bossnour’, beat 170 others to buy two tickets to the premiere of Scarlett’s new film ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’ in July in either Los Angeles or New York where they will meet the actress.

All proceeds raised from the eBay auction will go to charity Oxfam America.

In a video posted on the website, Scarlett said: “Hi, I’m Scarlett Johansson and I am auctioning off two tickets to the world premiere of my new film, ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’. This auction benefits Oxfam which in an international relief agency that fights poverty around the world.

“The winner of the charity auction will not only get to attend the premiere, but 100 per cent of the proceeds go directly to supporting Oxfam’s work. So, please bid high! Thank you for your support, and happy bidding!”

Along with the chance to meet Scarlett, the winner of the auction will also have their hair and make-up done and will arrive at the premiere in a chauffeured car.

Scarlett has been working with Oxfam since 2005 and travelled to Sri Lanka and India to see their work in action.

Other Oxfam America celebrity auctions currently open include the chance to buy Charlize Theron’s dress which she wore to the Cannes Film Festival, and a date with Kristin Davis at the premiere of ‘Sex and the City: The Movie’ this May.

Oxfam America is a Boston-based branch of the international development and relief agency, Oxfam International. It offers development programmes and emergency relief services, and campaigns for change in global practices and policies that keep people in poverty.

Scott Weiland Pleads Not Guilty to DUI

Scott WeilandSinger Scott Weiland of the rock band Velvet Revolver pleaded not guilty Wednesday in a Los Angeles court to driving under the influence of drugs with a prior conviction.

Weiland’s attorney entered the plea on the singer’s behalf. His next court date is April 4. The singer, 40, was arrested for DUI in L.A. on Nov. 21, and was freed on $40,000 bail the following day. Weiland has had several brushes with the law in recent years.

In July 2004, he was ordered to complete a six-month drug program and serve three years probation after pleading no contest to DUI.

If convicted of this latest charge, Weiland faces up to one year in jail, a $1,000 fine, and his car could be impounded for 30 days.

Michelle Williams: ‘I Didn’t Know Where to Go’ After Heath Split

Michelle WilliamsWhen Michelle Williams spoke to Elle magazine in January, she had no idea she’d be faced with the death of her ex, Heath Ledger, only days later on Jan. 22.

At the time, she was still mourning their breakup. “I didn’t know where to go” after their 2007 split, she says in the magazine’s April issue. “I couldn’t imagine any place in the world that was gonna feel good to me.”

Williams, 27, dove into work on several films, because “when I have too much free time, that’s when things start to get a little messy.”

She als naturally focused on Matilda, 2, her daughter with Ledger. “She’s bigger to me than any relationship, bigger than the awards,” Williams says. “She’s what came out of it.”
